Welcome to Daphne, Alabama.
Daphne is a city in Baldwin County, Alabama on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay just off I-10: 11 miles east of Mobile, 45 miles west of Pensacola, Florida and 150 miles southwest of Montgomery, the State Capital. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city is just over 20,000.

Daphne is one of three cities that are collectively known as "The Eastern Shore" by locals. They are Spanish Fort to the north, Daphne in the center and Fairhope to the south.
Daphne has earned a reputation for pristine beauty, reputable schools and recreational opportunities which span land, rivers and bays. The Gulf of Mexico's beaches and Mobile Bay fishing areas can be enjoyed leisurely on a day off. Abundant fresh water fishing on rivers and hunting advantages in Baldwin County add to the enjoyment of living in Daphne.
